START YOUR POOL PROJECTINGROUND VS ABOVE-GROUND FIBREGLASS POOLS
Not sure which installation style is right for your backyard? Our experienced team can assess your site and help determine whether an inground, partially above-ground or above-ground fibreglass pool is the best solution for your property.
INGROUND POOLS
Inground pool installation
Inground pools remain one of the most popular installation options, particularly for relatively flat sites. Installing the pool completely in the ground creates a clean, integrated look and can also help simplify the surrounding landscape design. Explore our inground fibreglass pool installation options.
PARTIALLY ABOVE GROUND
Partially above ground pools
Not every backyard is flat. Sloping or challenging sites may be better suited to a partially above-ground installation, where the pool is positioned partly inground and partly above ground. Compass fibreglass pools offer flexible installation options that can accommodate the water level sitting up to 1m above natural ground level.
ABOVE GROUND POOLS
Above ground pool installation
An above-ground fibreglass pool can provide greater flexibility on sloping or difficult sites without automatically resorting to extensive earthworks, retaining walls or an engineered concrete pool. Compass Pools’ exclusive Maxi Rib technology provides an engineered solution specifically designed for suitable above-ground fibreglass pool installations.
WHY CHOOSE A COMPASS FIBREGLASS POOL?
Compass fibreglass pools combine innovative Australian engineering with decades of research and development. From advanced construction technology and premium colour finishes to self-cleaning options and flexible installation solutions, they’re designed to deliver strength, style and easier pool ownership.
MORE THAN JUST A FIBREGLASS POOL
Compass Pools are designed to offer more flexibility than many people expect from a fibreglass pool. Choose from a wide range of shapes and sizes, customise your pool with water features, spas and other options, and select from advanced finishes designed to create a stunning backyard centrepiece.
Behind the design is proven Compass technology, including Ceramic Core construction, Maxi Rib technology for suitable above-ground installations, hydrostatic protection and the optional Vantage self-cleaning system.
Together, these features give you a premium fibreglass pool designed around strength, flexibility and easier ownership.

Here’s what some of our pool owners have to say about working with Achievable Pools & Spas.
LUCAS M.
Achievable have been fantastic from the initial consultation though to handover and beyond. Very professional in all aspects of the pool build as well as advice on a range of questions. The entire team are a fantastic bunch. APS have delivered us our dream pool. Strongly recommended Achievable pools and Spas to anyone looking to build.
BELINDA M.
Had a really good experience dealing with Achievable Pools. Although the outcome of the quote discussion was that we aren't going to go ahead with a pool on this property. We would definately seek them out in future. Troy was very helpful and professional in advising us of our options and there is a genuine integrity in the way he and the company conduct themselves.

POOL BUILDING IN NELSON
Building a swimming pool in Nelson can involve very different site conditions from one property to the next. Established homes, sloping blocks, limited side access and existing landscaping can all influence how a pool is designed and installed.
Achievable Pools & Spas works with Nelson homeowners to find a fibreglass pool solution suited to their property, lifestyle and available space. Depending on the site, your pool may be installed fully inground, partially above ground or using one of Compass Pools’ specialised installation systems.
Our team can assess access, pool positioning and installation requirements during your onsite consultation and help you choose a Compass fibreglass pool that works with your backyard rather than against it.
