PROTECTION FOR THE FINISH YOU SEE EVERY DAY
A pool’s interior surface spends its life exposed to water, pool chemicals and sunlight. Compass developed ArmourShield™ to provide an additional layer of protection within its premium Bi-Luminite colour system.
ArmourShield uses an additional layer of vinyl ester resin designed to help protect the interior surface from the effects of UV exposure and chemical breakdown, while helping the pool maintain its appearance over time.
This additional protection supports the 10-year cosmetic warranty included with Compass Bi-Luminite pools.

STRENGTH BUILT INTO THE POOL SHELL
The strength of a fibreglass pool starts with the way its shell is constructed. Every Compass pool incorporates Ceramic Core technology — a specialised composite layer developed to add strength and durability where it matters most.
Compass combines ceramic material with resin to create a strong, chemically stable and water-resistant layer within the pool shell. It’s an integral part of the manufacturing process rather than something added after the pool has been made.
For Bi-Luminite pools, Compass backs this construction with a lifetime structural warranty, transferable to subsequent owners for up to 25 years.

HYDROPRO™
PROTECTION FROM PRESSURE BELOW THE GROUND
Water pressure doesn’t only come from inside your pool. After heavy rain or extreme weather, groundwater can rise around the outside of an inground pool shell, creating hydrostatic pressure from beneath and around the pool.
Compass developed the patented HydroPro™ hydrostatic relief valve specifically to help manage this risk. The valve is designed to respond to rising groundwater pressure and allow groundwater to enter the pool when necessary, helping equalise pressure around the shell.
HydroPro is backed by Compass Pools’ lifetime warranty against hydrostatic damage caused by rising groundwater and extreme weather events, transferable to subsequent owners for up to 25 years.
